As per hockey tradition, his full name doesn't go on the back of the jersey.
Diddy will probably be Di. Kong, and Dixie will wind up as Dx. Kong, if she shows.
Dairy King also scribibbled the main logo for the BCs. Enjoy!

You'd think that having Cranky as a netminder would be this team's Achilles heel, and you'd be wrong. The elder Kong is somewhat capable, namely because he doesn't have to skate too much. The real problem is K. Rool, and his lack of chemistry on the ice with DK and the rest.

Nice design. I know this was all you could do with the BC, but hey, these are nice. There's a good series going on here.

BTW, I saw on NHLUniforms.com's WHA mini-site that with Houston, Gordie Howe, while playing with his two sons or whatever, had his full first name on the jersey. Still, it could also be Do. Kong, Did. Kong, and Dix. Kong, even though D.Kong is the standard abbreviation in Japan.

As for having DK's full name on the jersey, I tried it, and it didn't look proper.
I daresay that Gordie was the exception, because he was a legend already at that point, and one of the marquee stars of the WHA (Bobby Hull being the other).

I love the idea of DK's outfit. Coconut helmet, sandal ice skates, tattered shirt and pants, hocky stick. Brilliant.
